About the event
Come by at 1:00pm to make a special bird-related craft then join the 2:30pm Bird Walk to Malcolm X Park led by birders Andrew Gioannetti and Aaron Pond who will guide an outdoor adventure full of the colors, sounds, and behaviors of our avian neighbors. Afterwards, around 4:00pm, join Andrew and Aaron back at the library for a bird-inspired musical improvisation using a myriad instruments from slide whistles to the French horn! (Please note, children must be accompanied by a legal adult to join the bird walk.
