Join us for an evening of electro-acoustic drone, ambient, and minimalist music in a large candlelit drain pipe near the Manayunk Bridge. We will reverberate and pulse. Featuring performances from Levitation, Our Mother of the Holy Mountain, Palo Pinto, Pearler, and Spirit Furnace (solo).
Getting to the pipe will involve navigating some rough terrain.
The pipe is located off of a wooded path branching off from the Cynwyd Heritage / Manayunk Bridge trail. Recommended parking at the Barmouth Trailhead (end of E Levering Mill Rd). From the parking lot, follow the trail to the left until you see a historical marker for William Clegg's Cotton Mill on your right (roughly a quarter mile walk). If coming from the Manayunk Bridge, the marker will be on your left. Take the path into the woods just to the right of this marker. At each fork, go left. Follow the sound. You'll soon…
