$10-20 Notaflof Berlin-based Audrey Chen and Philadelphia’s Flandrew Fleisenberg have spent over a decade refining a singular, breathing tactile space. In a rare Philadelphia performance, Chen’s internally driven sonic language—a mix of voice and electronics—meets Fleisenberg’s "material conjuring" and obsession with physical phenomena. For Fleisenberg, drums are secondary to the hidden voices of mundane objects; he coaxes out material textures to build an architectural frame for the music. This creates a striking contrast: Chen’s visceral, personal explorations set against a landscape of manipulated objects. The result is an intimate, evolving discourse between the internal self and the physical world.
